 Submission Terms

These Submission Terms apply to all authors, researchers, and contributors submitting manuscripts, research papers, or other academic content to Hoofddorp Research Center for consideration, review, or publication. By submitting a manuscript, you agree to comply with these Terms and the guidelines provided by UKJournal.net.

Submission Process

To submit a manuscript to Hoofddorp Research Center, follow these steps:

  1. Create an Account: Register on our platform and create an author account. Ensure that your contact information is accurate and up-to-date.

  2. Format Manuscript: Follow the Author Guidelines to format your manuscript according to our submission requirements.

  3. Submit Manuscript: Submit your manuscript via the Manuscript Submission Portal. Upload all necessary documents, such as cover letters, supplementary files, and data sets.

  4. Initial Screening: Your submission will undergo an initial screening by our editorial team to ensure it aligns with our journal’s scope and submission standards.

Review and Acceptance

All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process. This means both the author and reviewers remain anonymous to each other to maintain objectivity. The review process involves the following stages:

  • Peer Review: Independent experts evaluate the manuscript based on academic rigor, originality, relevance, and quality.

  • Editorial Decision: After peer review, the editorial team will decide whether the manuscript is accepted, requires revision, or is rejected.

  • Revisions: If revisions are required, the author will be asked to make changes based on reviewer feedback. The revised manuscript will be re-evaluated.

  • Final Acceptance: If the manuscript passes the final review, it will be accepted for publication.

Manuscript Ownership and Copyright

By submitting your manuscript, you affirm that:

  • The manuscript is your original work and has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

  • You retain the copyright to your manuscript upon publication, but you grant Hoofddorp Research Center the right to publish, distribute, and archive it on the open access platform.

All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, which allows others to freely use, share, and adapt your work, provided they give appropriate credit.

Manuscript Revisions

If your manuscript is accepted with revisions, you will be provided with detailed feedback from the reviewers. You are expected to:

  • Address all reviewer comments thoroughly and submit the revised manuscript within the specified timeframe.

  • If revisions are not submitted within the given period,Hoofddorp Research Center may withdraw your manuscript from consideration.

Ethical Considerations

By submitting to Hoofddorp Research Center, you confirm that your work adheres to ethical guidelines, including:

  • Proper attribution of sources and acknowledgment of contributions.

  • No plagiarism, data manipulation, or other unethical practices in your work.

  • Compliance with COPE guidelines (Committee on Publication Ethics).
